The GLOBE Brasil Symposium and Workshop 2025 marked the evolution of the Girls in Space project by combining practical training in environmental protocols with a citizen science symposium, where students from across Rio Grande do Norte presented their own research. With a focus on scientific rigor and female leadership, the event integrated Earth monitoring workshops with strategic technical visits, consolidating a scientific investigation network that connects basic education to the forefront of space and environmental research.
National GLOBE Brasil Olympiad
The National GLOBE Brasil Olympiad (ONGB) stands out for its immersive and integrative character, connecting participants from all regions of Brazil in a global climate monitoring network. The major highlight of this edition was the practical immersion in the estuarine ecosystems of Rio Grande do Norte, where students experienced data collection in environments of high ecological complexity, combining healthy competition with the development of citizen science skills and leadership in the preservation of Brazilian biome.
GLOBE Brasil Science Fair
The GLOBE Brasil Science Fair has established itself as a center of innovation and scientific exchange, bringing together student projects from all regions of Brazil to address real environmental challenges. The event goes beyond the exhibition of projects by promoting a national collaboration hub, where the rigor of international protocols is transformed into practical solutions with social impact, recognizing the talent of young scientists who use science as a tool for transformation within their communities.
